Started tooling around with the ‘Chun-Li’ sketch at lunch today. A lot of people seemed to like the little pencil doodle, so I figured I’d try and take it the whole nine yards. She’s a bit off model, I know…I drew this off the top of my head without looking at a picture of the actual character D:
This is just me starting to lay out grey scale shading for lighting. I’ll get to colors later on once I’m happy with this phase. If I ever finish this phase D:

Just a little peek at what I was working on at lunch today. I decided to tool around with my ‘Alien Queen’ piece some more, starting the coloring from scratch since I wasn’t liking how it was turning out before.
Apologies if it’s too dark on your screens D: trying to build up from dark to light somewhat and haven’t gotten a whole lot of light down yet.
Update to my last Danny picture. I started to tool around with this more at lunch today. Just painting a little more and refining some of the features…tried to fix some anatomy issues…and just made even MORE anatomy issues D: Oh well…that’s it…*whistles and walks out the door*
More work time lunch doodlins! Bald Khaleesi is bald.
So, after working more on my Daenerys piece from my last post…I realized that during that time I think (it’s been a long time since I read the book) that she was still wearing her white lion pelt.
I am ok leaving it the way it is but I wanted to do a drawing of Danny as she was for a while, bald, with only the white lion pelt from Drogo to cover her head while she grew her hair out.
So this is just a doodle of that idea, had to get it out of my brain. Another piece to go on the back burner and maybe never get finished.

Started working on this a little again today. It’s been months and months since I even looked at this piece…and I can see there is a lot I need to re work, especially in her face D: and those hands…hahahaha…yea D: I’m a bit rusty on the art.
But well. I WILL eventually get this Daenerys drawing done u_u eventually being the key word. Slowly…but surely…

Just a couple of super rough thumbnail sketches I did today at lunch for a commission I’m working on.
This is the first time I’ve been commissioned to do something that is actually classic ‘pinup’ oriented, and I am excited to work on it :) I love the pinup style, so this will be a real treat.
The commission is for http://www.isnradio.com/ , which makes this a double treat as I love ISN’s podcasts and they play all the types of music I love :D
A Ramona art update! So I took another swing at the pencils I posted before, cleaning them up and just doing some tightening to the sketch. Nothing super fancy or final here, but I am hoping I’ll get a chance to ink this up and add some real color between Monday and Tuesday before the deadline D:
But well, even if I don’t get this done in time, I’m still pleased with it as it stands. It’s been a long while since I got to do something a little more free flowing and fun. It’s not perfect, of course, but I like it so far :) For now anyways, goodness knows I’ll probably hate it in a day or two D:
Only had a short amount of time during lunch to rough out a doodle today. Ever since Mr. O’Malley posted about his ‘contest’, I’ve been swimming in ideas for my own Ramona Flowers drawing.
This…is what I coughed up so far. We’ll see if I have the time this weekend to take it any further before the deadline D:

Super duper sketchy time. Been working on this piece for a little while now when I can between work. It’s a gift for a friend, SHHH DON’T TELL HIM IT’S A SEEEECRET.
Hopefully I can get more work done on this during Turkey time vacation next week. This’ll take a lot more tweaking before I’m happy with it, especially in the face and hand…and everything region D:
